 Shelly is a co-owner of Sellers and Seekers Real Estate Company, which was founded in June 2002. She was born in Iowa City, went to grade school at Mark Twain, junior high at Southeast and High School at West High. She then went onto college at the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing. Shelly has always been an Iowa City resident except for the 8 years she traveled around the United States with her husband, Mike, who was in the Army. She came back to Iowa City in 1996 and began her real estate career and then added on her broker’s license in 2003. She also has completed all the necessary criteria and class requirements for her ABR (accredited buyer representative) and ASR (accredited seller representative). Shelly has 2 children, Austin (senior in high school) and a daughter, Maddison (sophomore in high school), and husband Michael. Shelly has been active in volunteering at her children's schools and also has been a board member and is actively involved in the Iowa City Girls softball league (a non-profit organization) for 4 years now. Wendy Fountain has 16 years of full time experience in the Real Estate Industry. Mike is a Broker Associate and works with his wife Shelly. Mike has been a licensed real estate agent since January 2001. From April 1996 to October 2000 he was a Mortgage Loan Originator. He specialized in working with Veterans and First-Time home buyers. Mike has also taught numerous home buyer courses through Kirkwood Community College. If you have ANY mortgage questions he’s the one to call. Mike was also born and raised here in the Iowa City area. After graduating high school he joined the Army. After three years he came back to Iowa City and earned his Associates Degree and re-enlisted back into the Army to fly helicopters. After seven years of flying helicopters in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kansas and Alabama Mike and his family moved back home to Iowa City. In addition to being a real estate broker Mike is currently one of the UI AirCare Helicopter Pilots, Commander of the Iowa City American Legion Post #17 and a girl’s softball coach.

Acie Earl II was raised in Moline, Illinois and attended Moline HS. Acie was All State in basketball as a senior and then went on to attend the University of Iowa. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Leisure Studies in 1993. Acie was a 1st round draft pick of the Boston Celtics and played 4 seasons in the NBA for Celtics, Bucks and Raptors. After the NBA, Acie played professionally for 8 seasons in such countries as France, Spain, Kosovo, Russia, Poland, Austria, China, Austrailia, Serbia, Turkey, and Germany. Acie also speaks 3 languages and understands 5. After playing basketball abroad, Acie retired because of an injury and began coaching semi pro. Acie has coached in the ABA, CBA, and WBA and also was VP of Basketball Operations. Currently Acie is in his second season as Solon Freshman Boys head coach. Acie also has his own training basketball personal service where he has trained over 500 kids in 3 states for boys and girls and currently runs his own programs, leagues, camps and clinics. He has trained 5 kids that went on to college and is on the path this 07-08 season to help send 4 more. Acie is married to wife Tiffini, they have 5 children ranging from ages of 17 to 1 years old, 4 girls and 1 boy! Acie was interested in real estate from an early age when his father had 2 rental houses when he was kid. He then went on to buy rental properties during his playing career as investments and told himself when he stopped coaching professionally, he' one day get his real estate license.
