 Shelly is a co-owner of Sellers and Seekers Real Estate Company, which was founded in June 2002. She has been actively helping Buyers and Sellers with their real estate needs now for 15 years! 

She was born in Iowa City, went to grade school at Mark Twain, junior high at Southeast and High School at West High. She then went onto college at the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing.

Shelly has always been an Iowa City resident except for the 8 years she and her husband Mike traveled around the United States while he was in the Army as a helicopter pilot. Shelly & her family came back to Iowa City in 1996 and she then began her real estate career.  Her broker’s license was obtained in 2003. She also has completed all the necessary criteria and class requirements for her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and ASR (Accredited Seller Representative) as well as SFR (Short Sales & Foreclosure Accredited Resource).

Shelly has 2 children, Austin (senior at University of Iowa majoring in Engineering) and a daughter, Maddison (sophomore at Kirkwood & sales person at Riverside Golf Resort).  Shelly likes to be active in volunteering in the community with various animal rescue organizations as well as a previous a board member for Iowa City Girls softball league (a non-profit organization) for 4 years, and 3 years on the Board of Directors for the Iowa City Association of Realtors (through October 2011).

Wendy Fountain has 16 years of full time experience in the Real Estate Industry. Wendy was born and raised in Iowa City, she is a co-owner of Sellers and Seekers Real Estate Company, which was founded in 2002. Graduated from the University of Iowa, with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. Wendy is a CRS, Certified Residential Specialist, an ABR, Accredited Buyers Representative, and a GRI, Graduate Realtors Institute.
